“My name is Philip Meighan Jr. I am a recent graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where I received a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in informatics. She was great, she made sure I hit all of the points that I needed to hit, but I felt like I was missing something. She found what I was missing, which was Ashley, the president and executive director of Vanguard STEM Academy.

I needed help with the way I wanted to say certain things because I don't the best vocabulary when it comes to speaking highly about business. Ashley sat on a call with me for hours, helping me perfect my script as well as my presentation. I will never forget she kept telling me to speak slowly and ENUNCIATE! I was nervous and rushing through it and not enunciating and presenting to the best of my ability. By the end of the call, I was at an all high level of confidence and nothing could get in my way of having what I would consider the "Perfect" presentation. The fact that she took hours out of her day to sit and help me touched my heart. I came to work the next day very confident and ready to knock the presentation out the park. After hours of sitting with Ashley doing the presentation over and over and over again, I knew I was ready.
